The PDR ABM explores the post-disaster recovery process in urban areas of Tacloban, the Philippines, devastated by Typhoon Haiyan in 2013. We model urban recovery processes driven by location choices of diverse households, which among others depend on the location of employment opportunities. The model was developed within the PhD project of Saman Ghaffarian.
