This data set summarizes different factors motivating private adaptation collected from 53 independent publications (56 surveys, N= 38,891 total respondents).
This data set contains a significant amount of information of peer-reviewed empirical publications in the field of private flood adaptation as of Summer 2019.
The data set also contains Hofstede’s Cultural Ranking, GDP per capita, and Gini coefficient based on the country where the survey took place, permitting to associate it with cultural and macroeconomic factors.
